How To Keep the Flame Burning- Long Distance Relationships

Thursday, September 30, 2010

While the old cliche says that distance makes the heart grow fonder, another and equally true saying says that distance can make the heart forget. So now, how do we really survive long distance relationships? How can we keep the fire burning despite the distance?

It's certainly not easy, but some couples do survive long distance relationships. In order to do this, I suppose you need first to make an agreement of what your expectations are in the relationship and how much of a commitment you are willing to give and receive. Agreeing on ground rules will help prevent unnecessary arguments in the future. By accepting the challenge, you also accepted the fact that you will need to have the trust and faith in your partner. Being paranoid and accusing will only grow doubts, insecurity and tension between you and none of those will help the relationship survive. Trust is the main key! When you trust each other, you would have to respect each others privacy.

Moreover, all the things that couples who live near each other get to enjoy and sometimes take for granted, such as intimacy and togetherness, are things that people in long distance relationships need to put extra effort in. The mere fact that couples who live far apart from each other, with no means of knowing what the other is up to, puts a lot of strain into the relationship. So when you get the chance to be with together physically, make it a point that you don't waste a moment, not even a split of a second! Seize every single moment!

I strongly believe that it would also help to get hooked on a common activity, could be watching the same TV program or probably a movie at the same time. In this way, you both have something to talk about, and it simulates togetherness for the two of you, even if you are so far apart. Believe me, it certainly works for I am also in the same situation.

Alcoholism- An Addiction, An Illness.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Have you ever thought that you needed to cut back on the amount of alcohol you drink?

Alcoholism. A chronic but treatable condition with a wide variety of interventions. It stems from a genetically mediated predisposition. Not being able to drink in moderation, losing control, and not having the ability to abstain from alcohol can be progressive and life-threatening.

Drunkenness can cause serious and repeated alcohol related problems such as losing a job or a relationship, accidents, and physical abuse. How often do you see wives beaten up by their husbands? Or children being sexually abused by their biological fathers? Though I can't really give exact figures, I can say for certain that there's a lot of cases like those. Countless families are ruined and being ruined by alcoholism. Some even walk in eggshells as they pass by for them not to wake up the snoring elephant in their living room.

Drunken men are a common sight in parties, clubs, and even in the streets during the night. You can see them falling on their faces, slurring their words or being just an annoying loud mouth.

Now, how do we get away from this illness? I guess, you need first to recognize that you have a problem. Get a treatment. After going through a painful alcoholism detox you may think that, once you got the alcohol out of your system, you would be cured of your addiction, but you know what, your journey has only just begun, though you're on your way to recovery, you will have to continue battling urges to drink alcohol for years to come to stay sober.

So, drink in moderation, if possible stay away from alcoholic beverages and become the person the alcohol would never let you be.

Driving Force in Life- Love or Money?

What is your driving force in life? Have you ever asked yourself this provoking question? Is it money, love or something else? Honestly, I am also trying to figure this out. If you don't really know then it's time to find out what inspires you, what motivates you, and what gives you strength to move toward your destiny.

Money. Some people would say that this could be the driving force in their life. With so much money, you can do a lot of things, you would not need to deprive yourself of what you want to buy. You would not need to worry about what you would eat for tomorrow. You would not have to have a boss as you can be the boss of yourself. You would not need to worry about the future. You would not need to worry about your physical imperfections either as money can always do something about it. With money, you could pay to go to a perfect university, and you could go to salon to get a perfect hair. It seems like money could really make us happy, but I know some people who have tons of money, but aren't happy. No, I don’t think that money should be the driving force in our lives. Yes, it would be nice to have lots of money, but money does not make life perfect, and the idea that it does make life perfect is what makes us want it, and what makes us miserable when we realize it doesn’t.

Love. Could this be it? Nothing is greater than love. Getting the love that you deserve, great relationships with friends and family, and being able to find an inspiration have a positive impact in getting yourself motivated to do what you want to achieve and live a better life. As for me, I would like nothing more in my life than being able to say I loved everyone who loved me as I am. What would be the point of perfection if I had not loved along the way? And would money be important if I went through life without loving anyone? With love, the choice for happiness is sure and perfection is found.

NeoBux Tips and Strategy

Standard Member
If you are good at convincing people or if you have big community network to join NeoBux under your referral name, you can enjoy some nice earning in NeoBux as a standard member. Otherwise, it is very hard for standard members to make real meaningful money. "How about renting referrals?" You may ask. Sorry to tell you, it is not profitable to rent referrals as a standard member. You have to keep your AVG (average clicks per day per ref) above 2.0 to make a profit. Otherwise, you could probably even lose money. Why? The reason is simple, you only get 50% earning from your referrals.

For the purpose of discussion, let us assume you paid $30 for 100 referrals, so each referral costs you $3 per month. The referral has to click 60 ads (2 clicks per day) just for you to break even.

Your Earning = 2*30*$0.01*50% = $3
your profit = $3- $3 = $0

Is it possible to rent hard-working referrals to keep AVG above 2, 3, or 4? Yes, it is possible, only if you are very lucky and rent only a few referrals. If you try to rent more than 50 referrals, then statistics rules, that is, an AVG of 1.5 to 2.0.

My recommendation is, don't even try to rent a large number of referrals if you are a standard member. However, this is the tricky part, you probably need to rent a certain number of referrals (200 -300) before you upgrade to Gold membership soon because it is easier to rent as a standard member than a gold member.

Gold members
Gold member, on the other hand, requires lower average number of clicks (AVG) from referrals to break even. So if the AVG is above 1.0, you are basically in profit already. Lot of people may have written about NeoBux on internet. Some showed their payment proof, some showed the basics of NeoBux, and very few explained the details how they made money with NeoBux, particularly using the referral renting feature. What I am going to show you is the step by step implementation of a good and scientific sound NeoBux Tips and Tricks Strategy. The banner above shows my current earning, it is not a whole lot now, but it matches closely to the earning schedule below, and I encourage you check back frequently to see how it goes.

Rent 100 referrals, NeoBux charges $25/month($6.25/week) for 100 rented referrals. Although you can start FREE to accumulate your earning to rent referrals, putting a small amount of money will accelerate the process a lot, and your earning will be much more than your investment pretty soon. Statistically, the number of clicks for a referral is 1.5 per day, so

Week 1 Earning =100*1.5*7*$0.01 (ref clicks) + 4*7*0.01 (self clicks)=$10.8
Cost = $25 (rent 100 referrals)
Week 2 - Rent another 100 Referrals, so
Week 2 Earning = 200*1.5*7*$0.01 (ref clicks) + 4*7*0.01 (self clicks) = $21.3
Cost = $25 (rent 100 referrals) + $11.3 (referral renewal) + 1.6 (recycling) = $37.9

Notes:
1. You can only register as Standard Membership for the first couple of weeks, and the earning is $0.005/click for referrals (We simplied the calculate here using $0.01 for the first two weeks).
2. NeoBux has an "Autopay" feature for rent referral renewal with 10% discount and assume 25% of the referrals will be renewed. i.e., so weekly renewal cost = 200*25%($25/100)*0.9 = $11.3
3. Assume 10% recycling rate, i.e., 10% of referrals will be recycled each week, the recycling cost = 200*10%*0.08= $1.6

Week 3 - Rent another 100 Referrals, and upgrade to Golden Membership for $90 per year. This is highly recommended because you will earn $0.01 per click for your referrals to double your earning. So,
Week 3 Earning = 300*1.5*7*$0.01 (ref clicks) + 10*7*0.01 (self clicks) = $32.2
Cost = $25 (rent new 100 referrals) + $16.9 (rent renewal) + $2.4 (recycling) + $90 (membership) = $134.3

In the following weeks, you repeat the same thing adding 100 referrals every week. You can reinvest the earning to rent referrals. Of course, you need to spend 10-20 minutes a day to click a few Ads; otherwise the earnings from referrals will not be credited to your account. You can refer to the table and figure above for the earning and cost for each weeks. Please also note that you will need around $150 initial investment to get started to accelerate the earning.

Week 20 - By now, you should have reached the 2000 referrals limit by reinvesting what you have earned to rent more referrals every week.

Week 20 Earning = 2000*1.5*7*0.01 (Refs clicks) + 10*7*0.01 (Self Clicks) = $210.7
Cost = $25 (rent new 100 referrals) + $112.5 (rent renewal) + $16 (recycling) = $153.5
Profit = $210.7 - $153.5 = $57.2

From this point on, the earning and cost will be stabilized, because you have reached the 2000 rented referrals limit. Since you can't buy new referrals any more, your cost will be only for referral renewal and recycling, which is $112.5 (rent renewal) + $16 (recycling) = $128.5. Your earning will still be $210.7 per week (same as week 20). Therefore, your weekly profit becomes $210.7 - $128.5 = $82.2 per week, or $356 per month! That doesn't sound too bad, right?

Ultimate Members.
It gets harder and harder these days to rent referrals because more and more people are fighting for referrals. The referrals can be easily rented out even one minute after the clock because so many people out there are trying to rent the referrals. You snooze, you lose.

As an alternative, I paid another $890 to upgrade to Ultimate Pack because I have a full-time job and I want to spend less time on this. However, the money spent should pay off fairly quickly. It guarantees that the rented referrals are delivered to you on time and on a accelerated rate, which is 200 rent referrals every 4 days, or approximately 300 referrals per week! Once you reach the maximum 4,000 rented referrals for Ultimate Pack, you can earn as much as $177 per week profit, or $9,200 a year! See Table 2 and Figure 2 below. I will explain the cost and earning for week 20 as an example.

Week 20 Earning = 4,000*1.5*7*$0.01 (ref clicks) + 15*7*0.02 (self clicks) = $422.1
Week 20 Cost = 4,000*25%*$0.25*90% (referral renewal) + 4,000*10%*$0.05 = $245
Profit = $ 422.1 - $ 245 = $177.1 per week, or $767 per month

Again, the assumptions are:

a. 1.5 average clicks per referral per day (AVG)
b. 25% referrals are renewed every week, or all 4,000 are renewed every month.
c. 10% referrals are recycled every week, or 40% of all referrals are recycled every month.
d. Autopay is turned on to get 10% discount on referral renewal.

10 Tips for Effective Article Writing

1. Be clear. Clearly state what the article is about. Oftentimes, most writers state a problem, like “how to lose weight”, and then explain how your article will help solve the problem by providing a simple step-by-step approach to your writing.

2. Put the reader at ease.  Don't make it hard for the readers to understand your article by using technical and scientific terms which most readers are not familiar with. Make use of simple words and if you introduce new terms, define them for your readers.

3. Don't be afraid to get criticized. Get opinions from your friends before posting the article.

4. Don't be greedy. Don't hesitate to spill the beans sometimes. Share with your readers some of your trade secrets and tips!If you give more information, people will understand that you really are an authority on the subject that you are speaking about.

5. Be Readable. Explain your views in short paragraphs which will make it easier for the readers to follow. Remember that you're writing text for people reading from computer screens. Your posts should be short and easy on the eyes. If they get lengthy, consider breaking up the text visually with bullet points, images or selectively bolded text.
6. Be Funny. Never underestimate the power of humor in writing. Humor makes your posts enjoyable to read and more likely to be linked to by other writers

7. Cite examples. Share personal experiences to back up your points. Tell how you faced a problem and how you managed to solve it.

8. Be responsible. Give the addresses of websites where your readers can get more information on the subject that you are talking about. These may be your own websites or they can be other resources.  Good outgoing links from your website are also helpful to your site’s page ranking in search engines. It's important to give credit where credit is due and link back to a site if you've used it as a reference.

9. Be Consistent. It's important to post on a regular basis so that your readers keep coming back. Don't post if you don't have something to say. No content is better than bad content, but maintaining your blog should be a priority if you wish to reach an audience beyond your peers.

10.  Be Passionate. You're writing an article because you have something to say so say it with style, enthusiasm and grace. Your voice is the only thing that will make your article stand out for the millions of others out there.
